CHANTILLY HIGH SCHOOL LEADS THE WAY

On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 600 seniors at Chantilly High School, VA took an emotional journey through the life of Siobhan Louise Russell. Siobhan’s story was shared by her mother Lynne. Then, Siobhan’s first cousin, John Murray (18) took the audience through the warning signs of teen dating abuse, and gave some invaluable advice to his peers. Thank you to all the seniors who attended for being such a receptive, supportive audience, and for the wonderful feedback and support. Dr Julie Edstrom led the way to making this event happen for her students, with Dawn Stofko of DASH. We couldn’t have done it without you guys!
